Gold price per ounce and silver price per ounce precious metal trend review today March 7, 2013:


Gold and silver prices edged higher during the mid-week trading session. The U.S. dollar strengthened and the primary stock composites in the U.S. mixed.
After starting the week with surprising increases, the primary stock composites drifted during the mid-week trading session. The Nasdaq finished in the red while the DJIA and S&P 500 closed up. Concerns linked to the sequester, paired with general global growth concerns, helped to keep safe haven appeal of precious metals at the forefront. Gold and silver price trends ended the last full trading session on the positive side of break-even as a result.

Today’s Gold price per ounce Spot gold price per gram precious metal close review: April contract gold price climbed higher last session to post a floor price close of 1,574.90 per troy ounce. May contract silver price increased last session to post a positive floor price close of 28.80 per troy ounce.

Spot gold per gram and spot silver per ounce price trend review today March 7, 2013:

Spot gold and soot silver price trends tracked higher prior to opening bell today. Spot gold per gram price was up at 50.85 and spot silver per ounce price was tracking higher at 28.97.
